**OVERNIGHT HIKE - Blackheath to Blue Gum Loop** 🥾

This event will be both Canley and Bankstown Venturers and is a good opportunity revise scouting skills ⚜️

__Date:__
- 01/02/25 (Meet at Bankstown Station at 6.50am) - 02/02/25 (Finishes about 6.30pm)

__Location:__
- Blackheath to Blue Gum Loop in Blue Mountains National Park: Starts and ends at Blackheath station
- Return and pickup at Bankstown Station

__Distance:__
- Total distance of 24.1km over the two days: day 1 being about 11km and day 2 around 13km

__Equipment:__
- Hiking backpack 45-65L (should carry only 20% of your weight)
- Pack your own meals (2 each day and 1 extra = 5 total) - eat own breakfast before leaving 
- Water around 5-8 litres (we’ll be bringing a water pump to filter river water for use as well)
- Cooking equipment (mess kit, camping stove set)
- Lightweight camping gear (tent, mattress, sleeping bag) 
- Appropriate clothing (activity shirt, LONG pants, jacket, change of clothes, wet weather gear, socks and underwear)
- Personal items (toiletries, toilet shovel, wipes/toilet paper, first aid kit, sunscreen, insect repellent, head torch, compass, plastic bags)
- Portable chargers

 NOTE - The meeting and drop off points are at Bankstown Station NOT Cabramatta station (The website is glitching)
